When you choose to purchase our Doves for Peace Throw, we donate $50 to an organization that works to end gun violence (non-profit removed due to the below legal issue). Due to a recent legal notification from the original recipient of these donations, we have had to remove their name. Keeping to my promise, I will still be donating, but it will be a personal donation and kept private. The notification stated that donating a portion of my sales “can create what is known under state law as a commercial co-venture or a charitable sales promotion. Commercial co-ventures are highly regulated under state law and could require extensive registration and reporting for you in various states.” And they requested to not use their name in connection to my promotion.
All of our items are custom made to order, sometimes we have things in stock that are sent immediately- but usually we knit your throw especially for you! With that said, we ask that you choose carefully as we do not mass produce our items and they can be difficult to re-stock. We like it this way- working in small batches, and making special items that are unique. We understand that sometimes colors are hard to read online or things just don’t look in your space as you imagined and we want you to be happy, so we will work with you on returning.
RETURNS
We accept returns within 15 days of purchase. Just be in touch and we will send you an address to send your throw back to us. Upon receiving it, we will refund you the full amount. Shipping costs to return your item are the responsibility of the buyer.
EXCHANGES
We will also happily exchange for you— just tell us what you’d like, and we’ll get it out to you upon receiving your returned item.
Items ship within a week of ordering at the most, that gives us time to knit your throw, wash and dry it, and sew it. After that, it’s out the door to your door.
USA SHIPPING
We ship via UPS from the East Coast, that means transit time is between 1-5 days after production. Unfortunately we cannot offer expedited shipping because our throws are custom made- but get in touch, sometimes we can work magic! Shipping is free in the USA.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Shipping outside the US is done via USPS or UPS and can take up to 2 weeks after knitting your throw for you. International Shipping cost is based on live rates from carrier dependent on your location.
