Design with Purpose: Supporting a Talented Artist

At Happy Habitat, we believe in the power of design, connection, and giving back. That’s why we’re dedicating the profit from these special throws to designer Annabel from Wolfum, who tragically lost her home and business in the Altadena, California wildfires.

I first met Annabel in 2018 through a mutual friend while exhibiting at West Edge Design Fair in LA. Our shared love for bold, beautiful patterns made it feel like destiny. Over the years, our friendship grew as we spent time together at design shows, bonding over creativity and craftsmanship. We also share a special connection—starting our businesses the same year—which has made this journey feel even more intertwined.   

Now, from Kansas to California, this collaboration is a full-circle moment, a way to give back to someone whose work and spirit have inspired me. By featuring Annabel’s exclusive patterns in this collection of throws, we’re helping her rebuild and continue creating the incredible designs she’s known for.
